I gave my kitchen a good workout today. Aside from making homemade cookies from scratch, I have a pot of beef stew in the slow cooker (that will become a beef pie for tomorrow's dinner) and I made crispy chicken with rice and sugar snap peas for dinner tonight. That doesn't include the other domestic stuff I contended with, either. I'm off to get some well-deserved sleep. Hope your day was as productive as mine!

Pizza! My hildren came back from Spain with a lovely spanish Choritzo so i asked them what they would like me to make with it. This is the result!

'Viennese Kitchen', 'Viennese Cuisine' ... Yes. That means Schnitzel, Blutwurst, Apfelstrudel and Sacher Torte (which has cutely been called 'soccer tort' by an American before - it's chocolate cake).
